After a full day of running and playing with their friends in our indoor/outdoor dog daycare area, our dog boarding guests are treated to a relaxing environment where they sleep comfortably alongside other dog guests. Our dog boarding guests are provided with raised comfy beds or blankets, sanitizable food/water bowls, enrichment, lots of pets, love, and toys.
You love your dog, but you can’t always be with them. Sometimes work, vacations, and emergencies can force you to leave your dog alone. The Village Unleashed is the perfect solution! We can do both cage-less groups overnight or a private suite accommodation! These boarding methods not only benefit the dogs but also assures pet owners their dog is safe, comfortable, and happy while they’re away.
Boarding guests can indulge in a fun-filled slumber party-style sleepover in one of our roomy daycare spaces or opt for some private time in our kennel suites. The majority of our canine guests prefer to snooze in our comfortable and spacious kennel suites overnight. While all dogs must undergo an evaluation before being admitted to our care, staff assesses every overnight guest to determines if cage-less is suitable for them during their stay, typically this option is for pups who don’t settle well in our kennel suites. Our staff carefully considers each guest’s comfort and safety when determining their sleeping arrangements.

Since we offer only a small number of boarding spots each day, we require written notice of cancellations in a timely manner depending on the dates, as explained below.
All boarding dogs must be able to participate in daycare in order to provide comfortable care to ensure the well-being and comfort of all dogs in our care. We maintain this familiar and safe environment by requiring all dogs to attend our facility at least once every 90 days. This regular attendance is crucial for helping them stay comfortable with our setting, staff, and other dogs. If a dog has not visited us within this 90-day period, they must undergo a Re-Acclimation Daycare Session before they can be eligible for further services like boarding. During this session, our staff will assess the dog’s comfort and behavior to ensure they are well-adjusted and ready for a longer stay. This policy is designed to reduce stress for the dogs and to promote a harmonious environment at our facility.
Pick-ups/Drop-offs for boarding on weekends are by appointment only. Please email Wag@thevillageunleashed.com or text 808-865-3274 to arrange a time if you haven’t already.
Arrival outside daycare hours may be done by appointment; fees may be applied if accommodations require extra staff or staff to be scheduled outside regular shifts. At the staff’s sole discretion, they may charge $20 per incident, directly compensating staff for their time outside their regular shifts.
PLEASE NOTE: On weekends, when daycare is closed, staff may take breaks offsite. Dogs are separated by the family into private spaces during this break; the building is remotely monitored during this time.
